Fog and fire

After the death of her mother, a young artist named Sera Marshall moves across the country for an MFA program, in hopes of escaping her grief. Instead, she falls for Elias Whitmore, a reserved but captivating classmate assigned to be her portrait partner. Before long, Sera discovers Elias and his family are vampires. Loving a man who cannot die should mean Sera is finally safe from loss. Instead, she is drawn into a dangerous world where any human who learns the truth about vampires must be turned or killed. When Elias’s vengeful ex-mate attacks Sera, his brother Elliot kills in order to save her. The problem is this is a crime that goes against the laws of the Tribunal, the judicial body that governs their kind. Now Sera and the Whitmores are forced to answer the same question: how much are they willing to sacrifice for love?
